 Garden of Cranes |
 Built in 1997, the total floor area of the two-story garden is about 720 square meters. Surrounding the garden is a small botanical garden, which occupies about 6000 square meters. The botanical garden is packed with over 300 species of plants, including pine trees and cypresses. Using the space in the two-story garden, we designed 11 sections, explaining the distribution of 15 cranes in the world, ecology of cranes and the importance of crane in the Chinese culture.
Section 1—Distribution of Crane: Cranes around the world, their features and population distribution are introduced in this section.
Section 2—Size of Crane: Visitors can compare their height with cranes.
Section 3—Breeding of Red-crowned Crane
Section 4—Black-necked Crane: Visitors can see how Black-necked Crane survive the winter.
Section 5—Skeletal Anatomy of Crane: Visitors can see the skeleton and the vocal structure of a  crane and learn how to distinguish male crane from female crane.
Section 6—Pepper Ghost
Section 7—Chinese and the culture of Crane: This section mainly talks about the relationship between crane and the Chinese culture, including its symbolic meaning in the royal family and in the Chinese religions.
Section 8—The Threat of Crane Life: This section helps visitors understand the difficult situation facing cranes and the decreasing number of crane population.
Section 9—International Rule and Preservation Institute: This section talks about international laws and regulations introduced to protect cranes as well as various crane conservation areas. 
Section 10—Behavior of Crane
Section 11—Computer Game About Crane: Through computer games, visitors can learn more about cranes.
